No, I’ve been watching for awhile now. I took a long break, turned into a raging feminist, and then came back and was filled with FRUSTRATION because I never used to notice the problems. Or maybe it used to be less problematic, idk.

Oh, most of it is fine, but occasionally they have an episode that is SUPER PROBLEMATIC. Like the one when the moral was, “if you like kinky sex, you obviously can’t connect with people are probably are a murderer and the only good sex is vanilla and between a people in a long-term relationship.” I heard that they had an episode that was really really awful in dealing with a trans* character, too, but I haven’t seen it yet, so I can only dread it. The part I was really annoyed at just now was from episode 4x03 where Booth is berating Brennan for being polyamorous. Like, I get that he’s a conservative character and will tend to have more conservative values, but the problem comes when no one calls him on his bullshit and the conclusion is, “Welp, Booth was write about those perverts.”
Nevertheless, I’m emotionally invested and I’m gonna keep watching. I’ll just get all huffy and mad whenever the show displeases me.
